"The government has not accepted opposition that undermines the national interest"
The refusal of the Pakistani government of Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to engage with opposition political parties on issues of national importance, especially on issues related to economy, damages fundamental national interests.

Chandio argued that the government's "stubbornness" continued to hurt basic national interest, adding that there were fears that the country would head into an even bigger crisis if the government continued to focus on victimization, not real problems.
