Why did I leave the UK to fight ISIS in Syria BBC News

Dozens of foreigners are marching in northern Syria alongside Kurdish forces fighting the Islamic State. Some return home despite the risk of being indicted, including a Briton who spoke to the BBC’s Quentin Sommerville. Harry was shot and friends were seen killed, but he said he was fighting in a jihadist group along with the Kurds.
He said he is not a terrorist, and he wanted to help people.
