Texas studies show that vaccinated people are less likely to die of COVID
A new study by the Texas Department of Health (DSHS) shows that vaccination with the COVID-19 vaccine can prevent viral deaths.
The study that had the result release On November 8, unvaccinated individuals were shown to be 20 times more likely to die of COVID-19.
Researchers focused on the period from September 4th to October 1st, just as the more contagious delta mutants began to emerge.
The main findings are as follows.
- Unvaccinated people were 13 times more likely to be infected with COVID-19.
- Unvaccinated people were 20 times more likely to experience COVID-19-related deaths.
Vaccination has been effective in preventing infections and deaths in people of all ages, but it has had a really positive effect on people aged 12 to 17 years.
Unvaccinated people in their 40s were 55 times more likely to die of COVID-19 than those vaccinated at the same age. Unvaccinated people over the age of 75 were 12 times more likely to die than vaccinated people.
