Youth Flag Inscription
Registration for the Destin City Youth Flag Football League is ongoing until March 20.
The league is intended for young people from 11 to 13 years old on August 1, 2019.
Fees are $ 95 with a $ 30 discount offered to residents of Destin with a valid driver's license. Registration can be done in person at the Destin Community Center Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The games will start on April 9 and will be played well on Saturday morning at the Morgan Sports Center.

Run for health
The eighth annual health race is held March 21 at AJ & # 39; s Oyster Shanty on Santa Rosa Boulevard on Okaloosa Island.
The entry fee for the 5K / 8K is $ 25 for adults and $ 20 for children.
Participants will take off at 9 a.m. Runners and walkers of all skill levels are invited to participate. The race and after-party are suitable for strollers and dogs.
The race will be followed by an after party at AJ & # 39; s Oyster Shanty. There will be activities for the kids, including a bounce house, face paints and art stations. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finalists in each 10 year age group.

"Get Lucky" Half Marathon
A "Get Lucky" half-marathon will be added to the popular Lucky Leprechaun 5k / 10k weekend at Fort Walton Beach.
Run the 5K or the 10K on March 14 or half on March 15 or do one of the races on Saturday and half on Sunday. Athletes who do both will receive a commemorative beach towel.
All finishers of the half-marathon will win a finishing medal.
The 5 km and 10 km on Saturday will start at 8 a.m., while the half-marathon on Sunday will start at 7 a.m.
Package pickup will take place at Run With It at 170 Miracle Strip Parkway SE in downtown Fort Walton Beach, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. March 13, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. on March 14 and from 6 a.m. 6:45 am March 15.
These are rain or shine events.
Table tennis at the community center
Table tennis at the Destin Community Center is available for competition Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. Paddles and balls are provided. Fees are $ 3 for non-residents or $ 2 for residents of Destin (year-round).
Pickelball game
Pickelball sessions are offered at the Destin Community Center on Mondays from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays from 2:30 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Thursdays from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. and Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Fees are $ 3 per session .
