However, it is not unusual for more earthquakes to be recorded in shorter periods. Dr. Sushil Kumar said that the earthquakes in Delhi come in eastern Yamuna. It is related to the big fault of the frontier, Delhi-Heridwar, Suhana Volt, Mahindrajara-Dehradun Volt etc. They release energy in the form of small earthquakes.
