The mother of the dead black man children: My children life is worth as much as yours
Javier Ambler, almost 15 months after the death of a black man, was arrested when his ex-partner and a mother of two of his sons have a message for law enforcement and the world.
“You can’t talk about this anymore,” Bre Gamble said. “We need justice, we need equality. And we need solidarity. What is difficult?”
“I can’t breathe,” Ambler released this week repeatedly about the body camera of the March 2019 incident released this week.
In Williamson County, he told Texas Sheriff’s deputies, “I can’t resist,” and “I have congestive heart failure.”
So he says because of the encounters and Gamble adds to his son’s numbers of those left without parents.
“The state of Texas has allowed Williamson County to continue like this for a long time. They’ve done my children’s statistics now,” Gamble told CNN’s Erin Burnett.
Ambler’s son Deavion Gamble said he sees the world differently now. He could not see a white officer in a uniform manner, nor could he see the white Honda Pilot in the car he was driving on the day his father died.
“This hurts a lot of people,” he said, “I don’t want anyone.”
Ambler was a good father, Gamble said.
“He’s always been with us, he’s always been there for these guys,” he said. “It was glue.”
