Germany announces monkeypox guidance, malvaccine option – Minister | Mighty 790KFGO
Geneva (Reuters) -German Health Minister expressed concern about the outbreak of monkeypox on Monday and said he would publish quarantine guidelines on Tuesday after reporting three cases.
Outbreaks of viral disease have been reported in nearly 20 countries where monkeypox is not endemic, with more than 100 confirmed or suspected infections, primarily in Europe.
“Within the next few hours, we will work with the Robert Koch Institute on quarantine and quarantine recommendations,” said German Health Minister Karl Lauterbach of the World Health Organization in Geneva.
