Atlanta, GA (CBS46) – Georgia now has the 4th highest number of confirmed monkeypox cases in the United States. CDC.
Of the total 11,177 confirmed monkeypox cases in the United States, Georgia now has 851. Only New York (2,295), California (1,945) and Florida (1,085) have more confirmed cases, according to the CDC. These states rank 4th, 1st, and 3rd respectively in terms of total population.
