Many holiday destinations get the green light after the mess – BBC News
After several days of confusion, the government has finally published a list of about 60 countries in England that will be exempt from quarantine rules. The changes will take effect on July 10th. They are from Spain, France, Germany and Italy on the list, meaning that visitors from England will not be able to reach them or return home. But America, the Portuguese mainland and Brazil will still need travelers fifty days to get home and return home due to high rates of coronavirus infection. Scotland and Wales have yet to decide whether to ease travel restrictions. Their leaders called the changes in England “shameful”. Street regulations also apply in Northern Ireland for those arriving outside the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
