Health officials issue new guidance on COVID, RSV, and influenza
(KRON) — High levels of flu, COVID and RSV cases are straining the Bay Area’s healthcare system.
Dr. Gabriel Ortiz of Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital said the hospital is ready but hopes people will act to protect themselves this winter. “Cases are on the rise and it’s important that he gets together safely this holiday season,” said Dr. Ortiz.
This week, health officials in all nine Bay Area counties are urging people to stay healthy this winter as flu, COVID and RSV cases surge and could overwhelm Bay Area hospitals. Issued new recommendations. “Please, it is not too late to get your annual flu shot and an updated bivalent booster for COVID-19.
