Dallas Stars are making front office changes
Brad Alberts will soon be installed as CEO and team president of the Dallas Stars, per Matthew DeFranks of the Dallas News.
Jim Lites was the CEO and Alberts the president, but Lites will now move to the role of chairman. Officially, his new title will become President of the Dallas Stars and Chief Executive Officer of Northland Properties Corporation, US Division, according to the team release on NHL.com. Lites will continue to advise Alberts in his new position as CEO. Essentially, Lites stays with the organization, but moves from the hockey branch to other parts of the company. Alberts takes over the hockey activities.

He is now the lead Stars official on the board of directors of Center Operating Company (American Airlines Center). In addition, he remains President of the Texas Stars.
