Air filter “developed” to catch and kill coronaviruses
Researchers claim to design a coronavirus trap, a “catch and kill” air filter that can trap viruses and kill them instantly.
The allegation occurred during an increasing number of cases of coronavirus worldwide, resulting in 13.3 million cases and 578,000 deaths worldwide, an effort to develop treatments from the virus. Is in progress.

The air filter was also able to kill 99.9% of B. anthracis spores in a test at a national laboratory run by the University of Texas School of Medicine.

Medistar also proposed a desktop model of the filter. It can purify the ambient air.
However, the low resistivity of nickel foam makes it difficult to raise the temperature high enough to quickly kill the virus. But the problem was solved by folding the foam and connecting multiple compartments with wires to increase resistance.

Electronic heating reduced the amount of heat that escaped from the filter, allowing the filter to function more efficiently with minimal strain.
The company plans a phased rollout of devices, starting with high-priority facilities where significant workers are at high risk of being exposed to the virus.
