UT Health Houston Study Finds Cannabis Use Associated With Higher Surgical Complications
A study published by researchers at UTHealth Houston found that people who use cannabis regularly have a higher risk of experiencing complications before, during, and after surgery. today at JAMA Surgery.
Nearly 16.3 million people had a cannabis use disorder (CUD) in 2021, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
