Scientists have warned that more young people are infected with COVID-19, creating the potential for serious outbreaks.

Brett Snyder, a PhD student in Water Resources at the University of Guelph, first noticed an increase in infections in May in the age groups under 20 and 20-29 in the Toronto and Peel regions in May.
Snyder’s boss, Ed McBean, said he was confused by the increased prevalence of infections in groups under the age of 20, as the school and school were closed.
