Benjamin Keough’s girlfriend Diana Pinto broke her silence after his suicide.
Posting an emotional tribute to Instagram a week after Keough’s death, Pinto launched his post: “To the most beautiful boy I’ve ever seen. You turn on everyone around you as soon as you walk into the room. You touch every soul around you. You love your Sunday morning toons and chocolate milk.
“I promise to always honor you on Fancy Fridays. Your laughter is heard all over the world now. You made me the luckiest girl in the world, having you, holding you, loving you and being loved by you are the only things that ever mattered, ”Pinto continued in his post on Monday. “You are my whole world and all my life, you live with me now every day in my heart, in my soul and in my mind.”
Calling the 27-year-old her “travel partner” and “best friend,” Pinto said her loss taught her the realities of grief.
“I will cherish all the memories we have created together and will keep them close to my heart. I feel your stupidity in me which still makes me laugh, ”she wrote. “Every second of every day I think of you, now I know the true meaning of grief. Please give me the strength to carry on because I don’t know how I’m supposed to make this life without you.
She ended her tribute with a message written in Spanish: “… te amo mas que el sol y la luna mi amorsito”, which translates to “I love you more than the sun and the moon my darling”.
Lisa’s son Marie Presley committed suicide following a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
He was said to have had drug and alcohol problems before his death.
