Foxes Reveal All-Inclusive Cricket Kit for the first time

This year, Leicestershire County Cricket Club players proudly see the same cricket kit for 2020 at every level.
For the first time in club history, the Academy teams, Leicestershire Young Cricketers and Leicestershire Women and Girls teams will be wearing the same apparel as the first team professional players.
The new kit was unveiled shortly after new CEO Sean Jarvis joined the club on June 24 and announced an ambitious new vision for the Foxes.
Sean said the intent of an all-encompassing kit was to strengthen the Foxes brand and celebrate cricket talent at every level.
“The kit for this year’s cricketers will be one to remember as it is the first time in our history that our players will be wearing the same kit throughout the club,” said Sean. “This in itself is the beginning of a new chapter for the Foxes.”

Leicestershire CCC Head Coach, Paul Nixon said the move would increase the club’s prominence and inclusiveness.
He said: “We are all very happy with the new uniform identity that represents the diversity of our club – something we are proud of. For the first time, we share the latest fabrics and designs across the club. ”
LCCC announced a new partnership with Surridge Sport in late 2019.

The kit that will carry the four arms of the club is known as the First XI’s Vitality Blast kit with a woven design as the main focus point and a modern twist on the club’s traditional black and gold colors for the T20 format.
The women’s and girls’ teams are sponsored by the long-standing partner, De Montfort University, who has supported the teams – the Leicestershire Vixens – to wear the same gear as the First XI at the Fischer County Ground. This is a memorable occasion within the ladies game in Leicestershire.
