A big venue is set to open near Disney World

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Florida. Orlando has been crowned America's premier food and sports city and a new venue is being built nearby to highlight that.

Crush Yard, nicknamed the innovator in pickleball entertainment, will open its second location near Walt Disney World later this year. This marks the brand's entry into the Sunshine State.

Crush Yard Orlando will be located at 7840 W. Irlo Bronson Highway in Osceola County.

We believe this prime location in one of the world's most popular destinations will provide Orlando residents and millions of visitors with an unforgettable experience. There's really nothing like it, Craig Coyne, Crush Yards' chief strategy officer, said in a statement.

Crush Yard Orlando will have 10 indoor pickleball courts, a restaurant, a bar, a video arcade and private event spaces in its approximately 48,000 square foot building, a Press release States.

The venue will offer classes and private lessons to pickleball players of all levels. It will also feature leagues that people can join and events such as pickleball and glow-in-the-dark trivia.

At the same time, it will also offer subscriptions offering benefits such as unlimited soft drinks, discounts and unlimited open games at certain times of the day.

The restaurant inside Crush Yard will serve elevated comfort food. Items such as cheeseburger sliders, wings, nachos and tacos will be available. The bar will feature a self-serve beer section, the release said.

Crush Yard opened its first outpost in September 2023 in South Carolina and plans to build its third location in Nashville, Tennessee. All three locations are company-owned, but they offer franchise opportunities.
