Princess Beatrice's purple floral dress and neutral stilettos are the wedding guest outfit we'll be buying this summer.
Wedding season is well and truly here, and with it comes the all-too-familiar last-minute scramble to find the perfect outfit, whether it's one of the best wedding guest dresses or your best jumpsuit. However, with so many options available, finding your perfect look can sometimes feel a little overwhelming. Luckily, Princess Beatrice just gave us some much-needed inspiration with her purple floral dress from The Kooples for a night out in London on July 1st. This dress was a lovely choice as she attended Clarendon Fine Art and Jack Barclay Bentley's presentation of artist Mr. Brainwash at Jack Barclay Bentley.
Although it was not a formal event in the sense of a wedding, her dress could easily have served as a wedding guest outfit, with its flowing fabric and midi length. Princess Beatrice's dress had a high neckline with a keyhole back fastening and a semi-elasticated waist.

Even more interesting, this dress is a stunning option for everything from weddings to garden parties. It has a flattering ruched waist, blouson sleeves and a pleated panel. The floral pattern is so elegant and intricate and adds a pop of colour in such a subtle way.
Shop neutral heels
There's nothing more classic than a pair of pumps, crafted from supple leather in a neutral pinkish beige tone. The stiletto heel is perfect for formal occasions and the pointed toe is super flattering.
If you don't often wear stilettos but want to add a pair of stilettos to your evening wardrobe, these pumps are an affordable choice. They have a pointed toe and a mid-height heel, with M&S's Insolia® technology to help reduce pressure on the soles of your feet for added comfort.
These heeled pumps feature a suede upper and soft leather lining that exude comfort and style. The thicker block heel helps provide a little more stability than a stiletto heel and is perfect for those who don't like super skinny heels. Pair them with dresses or a jumpsuit for the perfect wedding guest dress.
The fitted bodice was incredibly flattering and the long puffed sleeves added an ethereal elegance to the princess's outfit. The skirt was embellished with pleated details and the fabric couldn't have been more perfect for summer, featuring a micro floral print. The delicacy of this pattern, which incorporated muted lilacs, lavenders and pops of olive green, was breathtaking.
Having such a small, all-over pattern on Princess Beatrice's purple floral dress also gave it a real sophistication and subtlety. Her look showed how versatile florals can be and that if abstract florals or playful florals aren't your thing, a more illustrative and intricate floral print might be worth a try. The combination of white with a soft pastel shade also looked great with her neutral pumps.

The royal family may wear their best white sneakers for more understated appearances, but for formal events or occasions, pumps are king. They're a go-to style for royal women, and Princess Beatrice wore a pair of pink-beige heels from Kurt Geiger for the event.
These shoes couldn't be more timeless or wearable, as the color goes with everything and the pointed toe and stiletto heel are very classic. Those who aren't really fans of super high heels might also be tempted to emulate Princess Beatrice's look with low or mid-heeled shoes, or block heels which tend to be a little more comfortable.
The king's niece decided to keep things simple with her hairstyle and left her chestnut hair loose and straight around her shoulders. Her makeup was fresh and natural, with a hint of pink on her lips that perfectly complemented her purple floral dress.

It may not have been a wedding, but we can't help but think that this elegant and timeless outfit would look just as stunning at a wedding. Princess Beatrice is a particular fan of florals during the warmer months and often wears dresses in pink/purple tones.
Stepping out at Royal Ascot recently, she wore the Zimmermann Matchmaker dress in Coral Hibiscus design. It features a fabulous pink botanical print, long sleeves and a flared midi skirt. This is another one of Princess Beatrice's outfits that we're tempted to recreate for upcoming weddings.
