Creating History in Presidential Visit, IKA SMANSA President Bulukumba Appreciates Andi Utta
PLUZ.ID, BULUKUMBA – Chairman of the SMA Negeri 1 Bulukumba Alumni Association (IKA SMANSA Bulukumba) Hendra Pachri appreciated the Bulukumba Regency Government (Pemkab) for President Joko Widodo's working visit to Bulukumba Regency on July 4-5, 2024.
Hendra said Jokowi's visit was an important moment for the Bulukumba regency government to convey the region's potential and emphasize the need for the central government's contribution to accelerating development in the entire district.
“We appreciate the steps taken by the Bulukumba Regent in his communication to the central government, so that the president directly visits areas in the district to accelerate social development,” he said.
As the regency that the president visited for the first time since its formation 64 years ago, Hendra felt that it was the right time to extend full support to the regency government to encourage it to work harder and focus on completing current development plans.
“This visit is not only symbolic, but also a great encouragement for the local government and the community to continue fighting for better development,” added the head of the Geological Engineering Department of Unhas.
Hendra also expressed pride in the district government and the people of Bulukumba who managed to welcome the president with great enthusiasm.
He hopes that this visit will have a positive impact on the future development of Bulukumba.

It is known that President Joko Widodo accompanied by First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo took time to visit Bulukumba Regency as part of his working visit to South Sulawesi Province for two days, Thursday-Friday (4-5/7/2024).
There were three points specifically visited by Jokowi and his wife, namely Tanjung Bira and spending the night there, Cekkeng Bulukumba Market and H Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja Regional Hospital.
Jokowi and Iriana were accompanied by Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman, Public Works and Public Housing Minister Basuki Hadimuljono, Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin and acting South Sulawesi Governor Zudan Arif Fakrulloh.
Bulukumba Regent Andi Muchtar Ali Yusuf, who attended the DPRD plenary meeting after the Presidential Kunker, expressed in his speech his gratitude and thanks for the President's visit to Bulukumba Regency.
“First of all, let me take this opportunity to express my gratitude and joy that today, Bulukumba Regency received the arrival of distinguished guests, namely Mr. President of the Republic of Indonesia Ir H Joko Widodo with First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo and accompanied by several ministers,” said Andi Utta, a typical greeting from Andi Muchtar Ali Yusuf, Friday (5/7/2024).
According to him, it was an honor and a historic moment for all the people of Bulukumba, because for the first time, the President of the Republic of Indonesia visited Bulukumba Regency.
