DLA Piper advises ES-KO and Phatisa on acquisition of International Facility Services (IFS)

DLA Piper has advised ES-KO and Phatisa, as part of a consortium with management, on the acquisition of 100% of International Facility Services (IFS) from Development Partners International (DPI). The acquisition will see the consortium deploy its complementary operational expertise, financial capabilities and impact credentials to help IFS become the leading facilities management business in Africa.

IFS is an integrated African facilities management business that includes hospitality, camp management, laundry, cleaning and housekeeping, maintenance, waste management and sanitation services. They support blue-chip customers operating in remote locations across multiple African countries, including South Africa, Mozambique, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Zambia.

ES-KO is the leading provider of integrated solutions for remote operations, offering fast and efficient logistics solutions, camp services, camp construction projects and risk and security management services in support of government agencies, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, Energy and Business. & Industry Sectors. Phatisa is a leading sub-Saharan African private equity fund manager with investments across the entire African food chain.
