A platform, of course, sets out the party’s plans for the future of government in the United States. These plans, in turn, depend on the party’s success in the November elections. Most of our citizens don’t even know that the 2025 Project exists. Fortunately, some observations about its contents have been noted in the press. Is it possible that the authors of the 2025 Project, primarily the Heritage Foundation, are now in charge of the Republican Party? There is some logic to this question. The Heritage group has a large contingent of very intelligent, well-educated, and committed members. The organization is funded by a group of billionaires committed to a very conservative agenda.
There has been a problem with this program for several years: Who could be the visible face of the campaign? (A delegation of deep thinkers does not produce potential candidates). Clearly, Trump has celebrity talent. He was able to build a huge audience by posing as a corporate executive evaluating employees’ talents. He was effective in asserting his authority to fire an apprentice. It is important to note that he did not participate in writing the script. He was an actor playing a role. Is it not possible that the deep conservative movement, active in the United States since the Constitutional Convention of 1787, has finally found a puppet?
