Indiana State Fair Releases List of Discount Days and Theme Days
The fair will run from Friday, August 2 to Sunday, August 18 and will be closed on Mondays.
INDIANAPOLIS The Indiana State Fair has just launched a variety of theme days, discounts and free events for fairgoers to enjoy this year.
Whether you're a thrill seeker, a fun-loving fairgoer, or a family looking for affordable entertainment, there's something for everyone!
The fair will run from Friday, August 2 to Sunday, August 18 and will be closed on Mondays.

Here are some of the best value options at this year's Indiana State Fair:
Discount days and theme days
- $2 Tuesdays – $2 admission, $2 rides and $2 food options at every concession stand are back! Mark your calendar for Tuesday, August 6th and 13th.
- Military and First Responder Day – First responders, current and former military members and their families will receive free admission with valid ID at the gate on Wednesday, August 7.
- BMV Discount Day – Fair visitors who receive a printed or digital voucher from in.gov/bmv will receive 50% of their admission on Thursday, August 8.
- Free IndyStar Ticket – Visit IndyStar on Monday, August 12th to get a free ticket, redeemable at the gate on Wednesday, August 14th.
- AAA Day – AAA cardholders will receive free admission with a valid AAA membership card presented at the door on Thursday, August 15. One valid card per person.
