Kiara is nicknamed 'lucky charm' because of her consistent results and her fees which are now higher than two years ago. Taapsee and Kangana Ranaut, both critically acclaimed actors, are known to lead their films and continue to act in the same category.

However, the remuneration of actresses is not fixed as their salary depends on various factors and varies from project to project. For mainstream films with a big star cast, the actress can lower her fees. However, for solo films, actresses are paid more. A film producer told the publication, “If the production cost of a female solo project is only Rs 20-25 crore, he would not mind paying the actress Rs 5 or even Rs 7 crore. She might ask for less for a regular mainstream film with a male lead. But since the budget is low in her female-centric film and she is taking on the project, she can be paid more.”
