Mann Ki Baat: PM Modi encourages buying products made in India this festive season, by simply buying earthen lamps and not
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today began his address to the nation through Mann ki Baat programme. This is the 114th episode of the Prime Minister's monthly radio show. PM Modi held the final episode of Mann ki Baat on August 25, 2024.
The program will be broadcast across the Akashvani and Doordarshan network, on the AIR News website and on the Newsonair mobile application. The public can also hear Prime Minister Modi's thoughts on the YouTube channel.

Prime Minister Modi highlighted the importance of water conservation. He said: “Over the last few weeks it has rained heavily in different parts of the country. This rainy season reminds us how important “water conservation” is.
The Prime Minister also reflected on the 10th anniversary of his radio show and said: This episode today will make me emotional. It floods me with a lot of old memories… The reason is that our trip to Mann Ki Baat is 10 years old.
Prime Minister Modi spoke about the popularity of Swachh Bharat Mission and said that due to the success of 'Swachh Bharat Mission', the mantra Waste to Wealth is becoming popular among people. People started talking about reducing, reusing and recycling.
The Prime Minister also shared the success story of Madhya Pradesh. He said: In Raipura village in Dindori, Madhya Pradesh, the construction of a large pond has significantly raised the water table level. The women of this village benefited.
During his speech, Prime Minister Modi also spoke about the return of ancient artifacts by the United States, saying, “We are all very proud of our heritage. I always say “Vikas Bhi, Virasat Bhi”. He added: “US President Joe Biden very affectionately showed me some of these items at his private residence in Delaware.
