RAWALPINDI: Police have booked PTI founder Imran Khan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur under the Terrorism Act on charges of violent protests and vandalism in Rawalpindi, officials said. indicated the police authorities.

The FIR also stated that the accused grabbed government firearms and fired them in the air, causing panic. Police confirmed that cases had been registered and searches were underway to apprehend other suspects.

Meanwhile, police in the federal capital arrested former Jamat-e-Islami senator Mushtaq Ahmed along with his wife and ten other activists for violating Article 144, during an anti-Israel protest on Sunday.
