Jammu is witnessing legendary cricket matches in the Legend League on schedule: official
JAMMU, Sep 30: The matches of the Legend League Cricket (LLC) tournament will finally be held as scheduled at the Maulana Azad Stadium here from October 3.
“We have received necessary permission from the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council and the work at the stadium is in full swing,” said Raman Raheja, co-founder of Legends League Cricket.
He said, “We are happy that the matches will start in Jammu city as scheduled.” However, on October 3, Manipal Tigers will take on Toyam Hyderabad (7:00 PM), on October 4, India Capitals will take on Konark Suryas Odisha (3:00 PM), on October 5, Manipal Tigers V/s Gujarat Greats (3:00 PM), Toyam Hyderabad V/s Southern Superstars (7:00 PM), on October 6 Konark Suryas Odisha V/s Toyam Hyderabad (7:30 PM) and on October 7 India Capitals V/s Gujarat Greats (7:00 PM). “The league has followed all protocols and necessary requirements for the commencement of the Jammu leg,” an official said.
He said that the tickets have gone live since September 22 and the response has been overwhelming and Legends League Cricket is looking forward to hosting international standard cricket matches in Jammu and Srinagar as well.
Meanwhile, the players have arrived in Jammu as per the schedule for their respective matches.
Once again, Jammu is super excited and people are in high spirits ahead of the third season (2nd edition in Jammu) of LLC for the second consecutive year. (agencies)
