A keyword search related to this purported comment on Prime Minister Narendra Modi yielded no credible reporting. Both leaders are very popular. Had Mahmoud Abbas made such a statement, it would have been reported, both in India and in the international media.

We did not find any official accounts of the Palestinian president on social networks. However, on his official account, Prime Minister Modi shared photos with President Mahmoud Abbas on September 23, 2024.

We found several media reports covering this meeting published on September 23. According to these reports, Prime Minister Modi assured Mahmoud Abbas of increased assistance to Gaza and reiterated India's support for peace and stability in the region.
