Liputan6.com, Jakarta – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) welcomes the public at the Kefamenanu market, North Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province, Wednesday, October 3, 2024.
On this occasion, Jokowi once again apologized to the public if during his 10 years of presidency there were any mistakes and unacceptable policies.
“I am an ordinary human being full of mistakes, full of flaws, full of mistakes,” Jokowi told the audience using a megaphone during his visit to Kefamenanu Market, Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
“On this good occasion, I would like to apologize profusely for all the mistakes, for all the policies that may not please you, ladies and gentlemen,” he continued.
Apart from this, President Jokowi said that he can no longer decide on strategic policies. The reason is that Jokowi's term as president will end on October 20, 2024.
Jokowi expressed this while responding to media questions regarding the revocation of the policy and the opening of a moratorium on the new NTT autonomous region. Jokowi also responded that this question should be asked of the new government because he is going to retire in 17 days.
“Later I will ask the new president, the new government. I have three weeks left, I cannot decide on strategic issues,” Jokowi said.
