Liputan6.com, Jakarta The National Paralympic Week aka Peparnas XVII Solo 2024 will be officially opened via opening ceremony which was held at Manahan Stadium, Surakarta, Sunday (06/10/2024).
President Joko Widodo is expected to be there to deliver a speech and directly open the country's largest sporting event for athletes with disabilities.
For information, Peparnas XVII 2024 is scheduled to take place in one city from October 6 to 13, 2024. A total of 20 sports will be competed in various place which was prepared by the host.
Surakarta itself was previously the venue for the 2022 ASEAN Para Games. As a result, in terms of infrastructure and facilities, this city meets international standards to host the Peparnas 2024 event.
