East Java Newsroom– President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is ready to open the XVII National Paralympic Week (PEPARNAS) at the Manahan Stadium, Solo, Central Java, Sunday evening (06/10/2024).
“Yes, after that I am flying to Solo to open PEPARNAS,” President R Jokowi briefly said after opening the Nusantara TNI Fun Run in the archipelago capital (IKN), East Kalimantan, Sunday (10/ 06/2024).
Based on information from the Presidential Secretariat, Jokowi, First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo and a limited entourage left for Balikpapan City, after opening the Nusantara TNI Fun Run in IKN, and will go directly to Central Java.
Chairman of the PEPARNAS XVII Ceremony Division Hasbi Ashshiddiqi said that people with regular red, yellow, green and blue tickets can enter the stadium at 3:00 p.m. WIB.
“From 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. before the broadcast, there will be entertainment from local artists,” said Hasbi during the press conference “Preparing for the opening ceremony of PEPARNAS XVII” at the PEPARNAS XVII Media Center, Solo, Sunday (6/10/2024).
Previously, Acting Governor of Central Java Nana Sudjana also checked the readiness of a number of competition arenas ahead of the XVII National Paralympic Week in Solo Raya (Perparnas) from October 6 to 13, 2024 .
According to Nana, all venues are ready to be used for matches. In addition to checking the venue of the match, his party also checked the preparations for the opening which will take place at the Manahan Stadium.
“Currently it has started to be organized and I see that it is in accordance with the appropriate progress,” said Nana Sudjana, in Solo, Saturday (05/10/2024).
