Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Sunday hit back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's accusations that the MVA government had stalled work on Mumbai Metro Line 3, saying he was not against the development but wanted to save the Aarey forest.
Raut also criticized the Prime Minister for claiming that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) partner Congress wanted to contest the polls with the money it gets by pushing young people towards drugs. Prime Minister Modi is also expected to speak about drug seizures in Gujarat, he said.

During his visit to Maharashtra on Saturday, Modi said the Uddhav Thackeray-led MVA government only knows how to delay the work. Work on Mumbai Metro Line 3 was stopped due to ego and taxpayers' money was wasted as the cost of the project increased by Rs 14,000 crore,” he said.
