Men's tennis battles on day two of ITA Texas Regional
WACO The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men's tennis team competed during day two of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Texas Regional Friday at the Hurd Tennis Center and picked up a pair of victories.
The Vaqueros battled hard in the opening round of doubles to start the day, but all three teams fell in the round of 64. Young and Whitehead drew opponents from Baylor, the No. 40-ranked team at the end of the 2024 spring season, into main-draw singles action.
