President Prabowo inaugurates ministerial-level officials at the State Palace | INITIATED
President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated a number of ministerial-level officials for the 2024-2039 term in a ceremony held at the State Palace, Jakarta, Monday, October 21, 2024.
Among the ministerial officials inaugurated by President Prabowo were the Attorney General, the Head of the National Intelligence Agency, the Chief and Deputy Chief of the Presidential Staff, the Head of the Presidential Communications Office and the President of the Council national economy.
President Prabowo inaugurated Sanitiar Burhanuddin as Attorney General, a position he also held in the administration of previous President Joko Jokowi Widodo. Meanwhile, Lieutenant General (retd) Muhammad Herindra was appointed head of the National Intelligence Agency (BIN).
The President also appointed Lt. Gen. (Ret.) AM Putranto as Chief of Presidential Staff and Political Surveyor Muhammad Qodari as Deputy Chief of Presidential Staff.
On the same occasion, President Prabowo also appointed another political expert, Hasan Nasbi, as head of the Presidential Communications Office. Finally, the President inaugurated General (Ret.) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan as Chairman of the National Economic Council. Luhut previously served as Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs and Investment in the Jokowi administration.
