Yasonna says Jokowi's network will win Bobby in North Sumatra gubernatorial election

Chairman of the Legal, Human Rights and People's Defense Division of the DPP PDIP Yasonna Laoly said that great power was at stake in the North Sumatra gubernatorial election. He said former Indonesian President Joko Widodo's network was still deployed to help his son-in-law, Bobby Nasution.
“I want to invite all of us to close ranks, all cadres to fight, that this fight is not an easy fight, we are fighting against a large force, especially in North Sumatra, the son-in-law of a former president, my former boss because even now we received information that the networks he used were still clearly visible to win over his son-in-law,” Yasonna said during her speech at the branch's special working meeting. “If someone commits fraud, state officials, the police, the TNI or anyone else reports it, records it, documents it. We are fighting to go to the Constitutional Court, we believe that the we can now count on the Constitutional Court to uphold justice,” he explained.
The former Minister of Law and Human Rights said that PDIP has nominated the best candidates to run in the Medan Pilwalkot and North Sumatra gubernatorial elections. According to him, city leaders in Medan and North Sumatra must demonstrate integrity and ethics and not leave the party that raised them.
“We need people of integrity, morals and ethics. They have integrity and do not abandon those who raised them, even sacrificing their own cadres, because at that time we really believed in that,” he said.
Yasonna considers the figures of Professor Ridha-Abdul Rani and Edy Rahmayadi-Hasan Basri Sagala as the most suitable figures. Furthermore, he emphasized that both partners had experience and achievements.
“Currently, we are appointing the best son of Medan City, the best son of North Sumatra who has experience and achievements. With his experience in leading North Sumatra, we believe, with the support of all of us, with the experience that we have already done, we are convinced that we can win this battle,” Yasonna said.
