2024 Strong Team Table Tennis Tournament held in Dong Nai

On October 26, the Vietnam Table Tennis Federation coordinated with the province's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Dong Nai Hold a press conference and draw to distribute the table tennis tournament among the 2024 national strong teams competing for the Dang Quang Watch Cup.

According to the draw results, the men's team event, Group A, includes the following teams: Ha Noi 1, Dong Nai 1 and Hai Duong Long Hai 2. Group B, including: Time City, T&T People's Police 1, Ho Chi Minh City Police. Group C, including: Hai Duong Long Hai 1, Tien Giang, Ho Chi Minh City 2 and Lam Dong 1. Group D, including: Army 1, Da Nang 1, T&T People's Police 2, Lam Dong 3.

In the women's team event, Group A consists of: Ho Chi Minh City 1, T&T People's Police 2, Hanoi 1. Group B consists of: T&T People's Police 1, Tien Giang and Ho Chi Minh City Police 1. Group C consists of: Army 1, Hai Duong Long Hai 1 and Dong Nai 1. Group D consists of Tay Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City 2 and Dong Nai 2.

The National Table Tennis Tournament was founded in 1996 and is a playground for the best teams and athletes, carefully selected from the National Championship. The tournament is a gathering place for the best faces of Vietnamese table tennis, creating attractive and competitive matches. This is one of six official events held annually in the national table tennis tournament system.

This year's tournament brings together 28 teams from provinces, cities and sectors across the country. Players compete in 7 categories: men's team, women's team, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, men's singles and women's singles.

The total prize value this year is 185 million VND, the highest prize in the tournament's history since 1996. The winning teams of the men's and women's team events will receive 20 million VND/prize, while the winning teams of the individual and doubles events receives 10 million VND/award./.
