Stark County Ohio High School Football OHSAA Week 10 Scores, Recaps
Week 10 of the high school football season for Stark County area teams included Perry, Louisville, Northwest, Fairless, Sandy Valley and Carrollton each winning along the way to wrap up the regular season.
Here's a look at how they fared Friday night, as all six of these teams took the field with varying degrees of OHSAA playoff hopes.
FEDERAL LEAGUE FOOTBALL
Marcellys Harris, Caelob Hundley and Connor Shephard make Perry win football
Perry 38, Glen Oak 21
CLEAR TWP. Caelob Hundley and Connor Shephard each ran for two touchdowns as Perry clinched the No. 9 seed in Division II, Region 9 with a Federal League road victory over GlenOak. The loss mathematically eliminated the Golden Eagles (1-9, 0-6) from Division I, Region 1 playoff contention.
Perry (5-5, 3-3) racked up 368 yards rushing as a team. Marcellys Harris led the way with 137 yards on 21 carries.
GlenOak scored touchdowns on two long kickoff returns and a fumble return. RJ Hairston had a 99-yard kickoff return, Javiion McClendon had a 95-yard kickoff return and Dom Wagner had a 45-yard fumble return. It is the second week in a row that McCLendon has kicked off a TD.

STARK COUNTY INDEPENDENT FOOTBALL
Cam Dougherty and Gabe Stoffer lead Louisville football to victory
Louisville 20, Wooster 17
WOOSTER Cam Dougherty scored on a 24-yard touchdown run with 5:03 to play, giving Louisville a victory over Wooster. Dougherty set up his own TD run by recovering a Wooster fumble at the Louisville 39-yard line. Dougherty ran for 66 yards on eight carries.
Louisville's defense then stopped Wooster short with running back Julian Franklin on a fourth-and-1 play from the Leopard 29 with 3:28 to play.
On the ensuing possession, Louisville's Gabe Stoffer broke a punt to the Wooster 2 with 1:16 to play, but intentionally stopped short of scoring the touchdown, allowing the Leopards to run out the clock. Stoffer led the team in rushing with 82 yards on 11 carries.
Louisville improved to 4-6 on the season and enters the bubble on Saturday in 16th place in Division III, Region 9, looking for a playoff berth. If Louisville qualifies for the playoffs, the Leopards would play No. 1 seed Walsh Jesuit on the road.
Ashton Marshall caught two Tate Aljancic touchdown passes in the win. Marshall caught five passes for 68 yards.
Franklin had a rushing touchdown for Wooster. He led the team with 87 yards on 23 carries.
PAC-7 FOOTBALL
Northwest Football coach John DeMarco reaches milestone
Northwest 24, Kanton Zuid 21
CANTON TWP. Quarterback Chase Badger ran for two touchdowns to lead Northwest to a PAC-7 road victory. The win was the 100th of Northwest John DeMarco's head coaching career.
Parker Kraft added a rushing touchdown for Northwest and Ben Schanz also kicked a 31-yard field goal. Northwest is expected to host a home game in Division IV, Region 13, after finishing the regular season at 8-2.
Canton South (4-6) is expected to clinch a playoff spot in Division IV, Region 15. The Wildcats are the No. 14 seed in the region according to Joe Eitel, meaning they will travel to New Lexington next week. No other details were available.
Peter Killy leads Fairless Football to victory in the Blue Cup
Fairless 14, Tuslaw 10
TUSCARAWAS TWP. Peter Killy ran for a 9-yard touchdown with nine seconds left to help Fairless win the Blue Cup on the road.
Killy ran for 101 yards on 24 carries. Fairless has defeated Tuslaw for five consecutive years and has now won the Blue Cup seven of the past eight years.
Michael Ritterback also caught a 40-yard TD pass from Cam Carl for Fairless.
Ethan Haer had the lone touchdown for Tuslaw on a seven-yard run.
INTERVAL CONFERENCE FOOTBALL
Zandvallei 32, Tuskyvallei 21
ZOARVILLE Drew Graybill threw two TD passes and ran for two more scores as Sandy Valley defeated Tusky Valley on the road. Graybill was 18 of 23 passing for 170 yards and running for 83 yards on seven carries.
Graybill ran for a touchdown with 5:46 to play to help Sandy Valley seal the victory. The Cardinals trailed by as many as nine points in the game.
Luke Miller threw three touchdown passes for Tusky Valley. Miller was 8 of 20 passing for 199 yards.
EASTERN BUCKEYE CONFERENCE FOOTBALL
Carrollton 36, Minerva 6
MINERVA Carrollton defeated Minerva on the road and finished the regular season 7-3 heading into the playoffs. Minerva finishes the season 1-9. No details were available about the game.
