The Sooners will play seven games next fall at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, three non-conference games and four against SEC opponents, as well as four true road games and the annual Red River Rivalry clash against Texas at Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas. OU's eight SEC opponents will be the same as this season, with the home and away assignments reversed starting in 2024. Six of OU's eight 2024 league foes are ranked in the top 19 of the final CFP rankings.

OU's four non-conference games are on August 30 vs. Illinois State, September 6 vs. Michigan, September 13 at Temple and October 4 vs. Kent State.

For the second year in a row, Oklahoma opens SEC play at home, this time welcoming Auburn for its first visit to Norman on September 20. The Sooners picked up their first-ever SEC victory, 27-21, on September 28 this season in Auburn, Ala.

After an open date on September 27 and the game against Kent State, OU travels to Dallas to face Texas on October 11 at the State Fair of Texas. OU, which will be the designated visiting team in the matchup, has won 11 of the last 16 meetings against the Longhorns and is 30-22-3 in the series since 1970.

Oklahoma will alternate road and home games over the next three weeks, starting with an Oct. 18 performance at South Carolina that will mark the Sooners' first trek to Columbia. OU returns home to host Ole Miss on Oct. 25 before playing Tennessee on Nov. 1. The Sooners' last trip to Knoxville in 2015 produced one of the great endings in OU history as Bob Stoops' squad prevailed 31-24 in double-overtime.

November 8 will serve as the team's second bye week of the season. Then OU plays at Alabama on November 15. The Sooners, who defeated then-No. 7 Crimson Tide 24-3 this season in Norman, are 4-2-1 all-time against Alabama and won the lone meeting in Tuscaloosa, 20-13, in 2003.

OU's final two games are at home against Missouri on Nov. 22 and LSU on Nov. 29. The Sooners are 67-25-5 all-time against Missouri and have won their last 18 home games in the series (the last loss was in 1966). LSU's visit to Norman will be its first ever.

Each SEC team will play eight conference football games plus at least one required opponent from the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12 or Major Independent, and each team will have two open dates.

The top two teams in the standings by winning percentage will play the 34th SEC Football Championship game on Saturday, December 6 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
