A local firefighter has paid tribute to a nine-year-old boy killed in an attack on a Christmas market in Germany. André Gleißner died after a car plowed into a crowd of shoppers at the Magdeburg market on Friday evening, according to the Schöppenstedt fire department. Four women aged 45, 52, 67 and 75 were also killed in the attack. Authorities are detaining a suspect, identified as Taleb al-Abdulmohsen, on charges of murder, attempted murder and aggravated assault.
