Lead the way. Good morning and thank you for joining us at 6:00. I'm Tiffany Wilson here with meteorologist Katie Donovan. As we drove through some heavy rain as we were coming in all night. There's a bit of a break now, but today is a weather day. that it. Yes. So we'll see some intermittent rain as we head through the rest of the day. But we will expect less rain than we saw all night last night. Strong winds will become a bigger concern as we head into the late afternoon and early evening hours. So, there will be a stay put effect as we go today due to all the active weather. This is a live look at our radar now, and you can see some scattered showers drifting in from the south. Once again, rain was few and far between, especially after what we saw last night and mainly on the east and west sides of the viewing area today. So what we're finding now from Hillsboro to Adams County, some scattered light rain, maybe just some moderate rain as far northwest of Union, light rain around Loveland and Milford. It's really more sprinkles at this point. Then, we have some rain rolling through Columbia, Laurel, Metamora, and Blooming Grove. These will be lifted north towards Abingdon and Liberty this morning. And then south of 74, some light rain from Sunman scattered through Lawrenceburg and Sunrise, and from Versailles to Carrollton and Madison just outside the area. I'm looking at some scattered rain. So it will rise north as well as this low pressure system continues to move through the area. High temperatures are now starting on a very mild note, 58 degrees could be a record low this morning. I think the record was 54. And it was set in 2019. So again, a very light start to the day. We have 58 in Warsaw, 58 in Owenton and about 57 in Independence now. Again, wind speeds from the south will reach about 20 to 35 miles per hour. We will continue to do so by issuing a wind advisory for the afternoon due to those winds. Starting at 10:00 this morning, those winds could reach 40 or even 50 miles per hour as they move toward 3, 4, or 5 this evening. So the effects of weather on the persistence of rain are less today. What a roller coaster overtime win for the Bengals over the Denver Broncos last night. Fans are hoping to see Cincinnati in the playoffs. Yes, they are still alive this morning. The Bengals are at it again, and continue to dominate the field. Back down the field. Second attempt. Fortunately, the Bengals were able to force a Broncos punt, allowing Cincinnati another chance to win. Joe Burrow hits Higgins for a 31-yard gain, putting the Bengals on the Denver three-yard line. On the next play, BURROW found Higgins again, passed the tee for the third TD of the night, and cruised to a 30 to 24 win last night. Fans react to the big win. After today, they look great. Cincinnati needs to get another win next week in Pittsburgh. Denver needs to lose to the Chiefs next week. But Kansas City will likely leave out its key players for that game. Carson Wentz is now set to lead the team. Today, the Bengalis are of course hoping for some losses, hoping for a chance to see a loss from the Colts. Loss from the Dolphins. Both teams are expected to start the match as well. But this has been an action-packed season for the Orange and Black of Cincinnati, which is still alive in the playoffs.
