The UK expels 23 Russian diplomats after Moscow’s former Salisbury spy explained to the Russian-created nerve agent, the prime minister said.
Theresa May said the diplomat, who had been leaving for a week, had been identified as an “undeclared intelligence officer”.
Russia has denied involvement in an attempted murder of former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia.
He declined to meet the midnight May deadline to cooperate with the case.
