Prevalence of Chinese gland plague: Americans dead in their 20s | World | News
A patient in Rio Ariba County, New Mexico, was taken to a hospital and died of an uncommon illness, health officials confirmed Friday. Health officials are inspecting a young man’s home. His death is the second state this year after a man in his sixties died of the disease in June.
A man in his 60s was first diagnosed in 2020 in late June and was recovering at the hospital.
The cases are not considered to be related because both men lived more than 100 miles from each other.
“Because New Mexico’s plague activity is usually highest during the summer, rodents and their fleas can be exposed to epidemics,” said Kathy Kunkel, director of the New Mexico Department of Health. Is especially important.”

This includes 60% of the 14th century European population known as “black death”.
The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates 1,000 to 2,000 plague cases each year worldwide.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), pet owners need to prevent animals from wandering, use flea treatment products, and keep hay, wool, and manure piles away from home.

Last week, the entire village was blocked, and a second gland plague was carried out, followed by a panic attack throughout the inner Mongolia region of China.
