ISLAMABAD: As doubts loom over the future of the ongoing dialogue process between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the government, the contradictory statements by PTI leaders regarding the alleged 'offer of house arrest of Imran Khan” added another layer of complexity to the situation.

Gohar clarified that contact with the government was re-established shortly before November 26, but that the negotiation process with Naqvi did not begin before that date.
