Govt has no pressure for Imran Khan's release: Rana Sana

Prime Minister's Advisor on Political Affairs Rana Sana Ullah said that PTI leaders can cross all limits to prove that the PTI founder was mistreated in jail, but the fact is that there is no no truth in such reports, reported TV channel 24NewsHD.

Speaking to media in Islamabad, Rana San said that Aleema Khan in her leaked chats had said that Imran Khan should not talk about the facilities provided to him in jail as it went against the narrative of the PTI.

He said the government was not afraid of pressure from anywhere as no statement was made by the quarters referred to by the PTI social media teams regarding the pressure for Imran's release Khan.

He said PTI leaders can go to any extent to spread propaganda against the government. Rana San said that the international struggle within the PTI party ranks has reached a new high and hence the nation should check their talks.

Rana Sana that the PTI's speech against state institutions is before the nation. He said the PTI social media had linked the footage of the Nankana incidents that took place two years ago to the November 24, 2024 PTI protest in Islamabad. Rana Sana said the Palestinian videos were shared by the PTI social media team and were attached to the D Chowk protests.

PM Advisor said that till today no PTI worker has come to media to say that he is available at D Chowk and can describe the atrocities committed against PTI workers. He said that PTI has not even submitted any report in any police station against the crackdown on PTI workers on November 24, 2024.

Rana Sana said that the country's economy was improving day by day and in the coming years it would improve further. He said the PTI wanted peace and stability in the country. He said that there was no pressure on the government for the release of Imran Khan as the PTI workers knew that no statement had been made by the circles that the PTI was referring to.
