Maryam adopted Imran's plan: Bhachar – Journal

LAHORE: Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmed Khan Bhachar says Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is following the ideas of former Prime Minister Imran Khan by launching livestock programs and others similar projects.

In a statement issued on Thursday, he said the chief minister was opening up the projects launched by the PTI government even a year after taking control of Punjab.

He recalled that Imran Khan had announced on February 22, 2020 that the government would donate a buffalo, a cow and three goats to economically strengthen women in the border areas.

The former prime minister had also launched a poultry program in 2018 and then many political rivals mocked him, recalled Mr. Bhachar, who represents the PTI in the Punjab Assembly.

Now I ask all these politicians whether they will praise this project or criticize it? The fact will not change by renaming Imran Khan's initiative as Livestock Card.

He criticized the PML-N government for denying shooting at peaceful protesters in Islamabad on November 26 and claimed that the Prime Minister and Interior Minister had given orders to fire at PTI workers in D -Chowk.

He said PTI MPs, whether in the Senate, National Assembly or provincial assemblies, would repeatedly ask themselves why the government ordered the sacking of innocent workers.
