The combination of these three elements has made Trump virtually untouchable and simultaneously shows how our justice system can be manipulated despite its supposed impartiality.

Even though he is now officially found guilty, Friday's conviction ensures that the effect on Trump is zero. It’s meaningless barking from a system that has otherwise licked Trump’s hand. Some of them have been wrongly convicted and now have to live their daily lives with difficulty finding employment, housing, education and credit.
