Prince Edward visited troops currently deployed in Estonia and participated in a training exercise in Harju County as Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Dragoon Guards, a statement released by the royal family said.

The Duke of Edinburgh also visited Tapa Camp, a military base in Laane-Viru County.

According to the release, the cold weather operator course takes place annually in Estonia and involves soldiers spending two nights in a forest, learning how to build camps, make fires and find food and water.
