A 3.0 -size hurricane was recorded near Maggie in Mississippi, according to the United States's geological survey, on Saturday amid harsh weather conditions in the state that produced many hurricanes. The earthquake hit 9 km from Maggie, Mississippi, on March 15th 6:49 pm UTC. NWS said the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10.5 km.
