The rally calls for racial justice because President Trump will launch an election campaign – BBC News
Thousands of people took part in a huge demonstration against civil rights in Washington to demand racial justice and an end to police brutality. The march is being held in honor of the anniversary of Martin Luther King’s 1963 speech, which galvanized the civil rights movement. Subsequently, protests against Jacob Blake’s police shooting in Wisconsin earlier this week and George Floyd were killed in May as a result of police. The Trump president has not addressed protests today after attacking what he called anarchists and agitators after launching an election campaign last night.
