New restrictions on coronavirus have been introduced in some parts of Scotland – BBC News
From midnight onwards, new restrictions are being imposed to control the spread of Coronavirus in the three Scottish eras. The measures will affect nearly a million people. Prime Minister Nicola Sturgeon said the number of cases has risen mainly “as a result of domestic gatherings”. People living in Glasgow, West Dunbartonshire and East Renfrewshire have been told they should not gather inside the house with people from other households. If close contact has given a positive COVID-19, everyone in the household should be isolated for 14 days. And only essential visits to care homes and hospitals will be allowed.
