Singapore: mothers demanding teenagers to “stop” suicide – BBC News
Doreen and Elain helped form the PleaseStay movement in Singapore, tackling the mental health and suicide of young people. They and the rest of the group share a unique story: they are all mothers who have taken their children away from their lives. Both women explain why suicides and depression remain taboo subjects in Singapore, with suicides among teenage men and boys increasing in recent years. Video by Tessa Wong.
